This sculpture was commissioned by the city of Cherry Hill, New Jersey as its very first public sculpture. It speaks to the history and heritage of Croft Farm, where it resides. Now being used as an art center, Croft Farm is rich in history as it both the site of a successful milling industry and as a "station" along the Underground Railroad.
